Default Good day sir

Hello, my name is John, Im 24 and from Philadelphia.
Love all kinds of music, lately I've been into making drone / ambient / noise with field recordings and what have you. I was raised on Yes and King Crimson, moved onto hiphop, ate a lot of mushrooms and became fascinated with the sound of machines humming around peoples houses.
I like the community so far

YES. What bands have you been listening then, John? I've recently started exploring these genres, too.

How cool! I've been listening to Contagious Orgasm and Zyrtax a LOT recently.
If you haven't heard them I highly HIGHLY recommend both, but especially Contagious.
I cant say I know many pure ambient drone bands, I've mostly just been making my own.
But as for noise, I like Lightning Bolt, Boredoms, Government Alpha, and Violent Onsen Geisha the most.
Violent Onsen Geisha sometimes explores the ambient side but....its pretty far out there lol.
My daughter isn't even 1 yet so I've been working overtime and paying attention to her so I dont know
too many recent bands, but when I can I will upload some of my own stuff if your interested
