Talking New groovy chick

I am new here. I love music. Most people don't have my expansive music tastes, so I thought I'd reach out!

Music is in my blood, since I was a child. My mom literally had hundreds of albums beside the record player cabinet! I grew up in the 70's (classic rock) and 80's (a lot of junk but memories). But followed the soul side of music (Marvin G(r)aye, Chaka Khan, and anybody that had a real voice) into the 90's. Then followed alternative (Soundgarden, Chili Peppers). I listen to some hip-hop today. I love music that has meaning (subjective), social meaning, & groovy funky music with no meaning!

Here are some of my favorites:

Marvin G(r)aye
Tool
Chris Cornell (Soundgarden)
Janis Joplin
Chaka Khan (& Rufus)
Jamiroquai
Cream
Rose Royce
Red Hot Chili Peppers...

So many to name, so little time.

Peace
Bobina
