Hello & a question
Hi there. I'm a n00b to the forum and just wanted to say hello.
I also have a question... is there are a place within this forum in which people can ask for feedback about songs, more specifically performance critiques? I am quite shy and can't really bare to bring myself to ask for feedback from anyone I know in real life. I was hoping that I could get some feedback about my playing (I play guitar and sing a bit) but it isn't at all for promotional purposes or anything. I just want honest impartial feedback and strangers are a great place to get it. Thanks in advance, An |

Well you'd make a thread in this section for songs and such, but I don't know the rules on which members can make threads, you could always ask one of the mods via pm. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to answer your question. Anyways, welcome if you decide to stay around!

Welcome, welcome. And indeed, strangers have a wonderful way of giving you an unfiltered opinion. Such as this: I'm looking for a letter head. Do you like:

if you're really not interested in spamming then stick around and post more. you'll be able to post links to your music soon enough and a thread in the songwriting section will get you critiques if you want them. there's also plenty of advice and information in the 'talk instruments' section if you need some help with playing guitar.
you'll also get far better reactions and constructive criticisms once you've established a bit of a rapport with the members as opposed to being a one thread wonder. |
