New to this forum!

Hello. My name is Patricia, please call me Pat.Years ago I used to play an accordian, but got out of it. So now that the kids are gone I find I have time again so.... I just purchased a used accordian. I have found that some of the technique is coming back to me. I can play basic treble cords, I am also able to play the c,g and f in bass. But I am unable to put the 2 together for anything understandable.
Any suggestions, hints, do's or don't do's are greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Pat

I would attempt to help you, but that's the one instrument they don't teach us. Sorry. But welcome to the forums.

Well ya, I am. That doesn't mean I know everything about music. I can't play the accordian. I know a little about it, in that it uses compresed air from the movement of the hands back and forth over a set of reeds within the instrument. They teach us the basics, but not anything about the notes, is what I meant. I can't help her there, because, after all, how many high schoolers do you know that play the acordian? It's not exactly a popular instrument, no offense to those of you who play/enjoy it.
