Another Newbie

Hey,

After having a look around the site for the past half hour or something, I've decided to join up and join in!

I'm 17 and have only really started to get into music over the past year since getting an iPod at Christmas last year, probably a prized procession now! Music-wise I'm still finding my feet but my favourite genre is rock and my favorite band is QoTSA, and discovering new stuff all the time. I'm hoping to start learning the guitar after Christmas as well, as I'd love to learn an instrument. :)

Thinks that about it and I look forward to sticking around, and hopefully finding more new music.

I was a late bloomer too. I really got into music when I was 17, when I noticed I love music and don't know anything about it. I'm sure MB can help you big time, welcome to the boards.

Seriously, stop doing this. You're freaking me out. No one can become so musically knowledgeable in such a short space of time. Liar.

Welcome to MB.

Welcome to MB.

I noticed do things in phases, it was paintings, then books and philosophy, movies and now music. I didn't give it much importance as the others for a reason.
Unfortunately, I always get hyped on one subject and just neglect the others.

Hey man, welcome!

It's grade you've decided to get into music, and don 't worry, it's never too late to learn to play an instrument. I'm a high school band teacher, so if you need any help, don't hesitate to PM me. I'll gladly reply! Anyways, welcome again

Haha, the last words I'd use to describe Glasgow would be boring. I love going up there. :)

FETCHER. 12-05-2009 12:50 PM

Aww. :( at least its not that far though, I have to sit on a bus or a train for 2 hours.

Yeah I like Edinburgh as well nice city with lots to do, I usually got there at least once or twice a year, still prefer Glasgow though. :p:

FETCHER. 12-05-2009 01:02 PM

Edinburghs sweeter, it's dead old, and I have the Glasweigian accent, so I love the Edinburgh one. I takes me about 20mins (if that) to get to glasgow.
