hello
I figured I'd give you guys a little introduction to myself.
I am a high school band teacher, in Western Mass. I have a husband, and three sons. (Yes, I'm g*y.) I'll be 35 on monday.....I've been teaching for 12 years now, this is my 13th, and I hold 15 degrees in Education, and Music. My husband (Christian) is an EMT. Oldest son (Jeremy) plays trumpet in his band, middle son (Justin) is in the 7th grade, plays flute, and then my youngest (Bobby) is in the 2nd grade. I think that's about... Is there a certain instrument you play best?
There should be, cause music education majors usually need that. |

Ah. (I'm old...cut me some slack!) Yeah, there is. I'm particularlly strong in strings and percussion. However, brass and woodwinds aren't exactly crappy. The only instrument I can't say I can truely play is bassoon. I can't make my thumbs do all that! haha. While I was in high school, I marched drum line. Bass then quads. When I got to college, I had learned to play the trumpet from my music teacher in high school. I went to UMass Amherst, and was on the trumpet line. However, when I started marching with the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corp, I got switched to trombone. Does that answer your question?
