Hi, Gin and Kerosene!
I've had plenty of those ****tails myself. Brown paper bags and park benches... where did those long, beautiful summers go? Come to that, where did my eye sight and continence go too?

Welcome.
What kind of music do you like? Do you play any instrument? |

I've wanted to learn guitar for years but i've never had the chance, i think i might try and teach myself in the new year because i've always really admired people who have musical talent, and, to be fair, envied them a lot! lol
The kind of music i generally listen to is mostly alternative, metal kind of stuff....anything down the rock road really....although i'm not adverse to a bit of light hearted pop every now and again....i'm pretty into anything from Slipknot and Korn through to The Used and Fall Out Boy (i refuse to call them emo)...i'm pretty eclectic i suppose but i'll generally give anything a listen.... Do any of you guys play instruments? If you do, i majorly envy you! My best friend just joined a band and i've been kicking myself for being so un-talented ever since! |

Guitar is a good instrument to start with, I recommend it. [=
First thing, though, I wouldn't start with tabs. Mm, The Used is really good live, [= |

And yep i think i'll make it a New Year's resolution to learn guitar properly, is it fairly do-able to teach yourself?
