I love classic rock, really don't listen to any new music. I know I should, but alot of it just sucks balls. :yeah:

So you prefer bands like Styx, REO Speedwagon, and Steely Dan to Radiohead, Tool and Modest Mouse?

I'm with you, though I don't mind some of Modest Mouse--I like the late 60's and 70's mostly.

I love music probably more than much anything else, but just can't keep ingesting more and more new new new...there's a line I've drawn that only allows certain real good stuff to impress me now. I hear plenty new on Pandora, lastfm etc but not a whole lot of it grabs me, except stuff like the Shins, Bright Eyes, Brett Dennen. It has to hit hard and linger like a good high.

But I still love it all.

You said it all! New music just doesn't grab me. It seems anyone can get a record deal nowadays. I do enjoy jam-bands, ones who haven't gone all corperate. But still, the classic bands will always be where my heart is.

We're gonna get along just fine.

You should really work on that... There is just as much crap from the 60s/70s/80s as there is now.
