Default Hi All, new to the forum - lets bounce some ideas.

Hey all. I'm new here and have learned a lot about the forum already. I'm gonna throw out my musical tastes and try and get somebody to bounce off some good artists for me to check out - everytime I get into a wave of new music discovery, it changes my life.

I've been in about a 10 month groove of mellow, light, acoustic, piano, chill, indie, yet emo-ish style. And I love it. Now, I'm still refining my taste here, so I'm sure there are some totally wicked artists out there I don't know about...honestly Damien Rice and Missy Higgins have been at the top of my list for the last little while. Any suggestions on other similar artists to check out?

If you like Damien Rice definitely check out Ray lamontagne's first two albums Trouble and Till the Sun Turns Black.
