Plenty in common. You listen to Brett Dennen, Shins, G Love, Mason Jennings?

How can you like the beatles AND nirvana? They're mutually exclusive, polar opposites. And you forgot Weird Al.

First of all, I was in the top half of my class.
Secondly of all, stop flaming, flame wars aren't cool.

Top half? Lol, I'm top 3, but that's besides the point. Maybe I should have justified my claim, instead of just stating it. The Beatles and Nirvana were two very influential bands and it isn't uncommon for people to enjoy them both despite their musical differences. In fact people should listen to more eclectic types of music instead of restriction into only type. Of course all these should be stating the obvious. So next time refrain from posting seemingly witty comments, when in fact they come off as infantile and narrow minded.

I agree people should listen to all sorts of music. That's how you find what you like. It's just that after listening, you need to decide instead of sitting on the fence like John Kerry. And besides, you shouldn't flame me, it's not nice.

not a bad list of bands, welcome to the site
