What's the name of his band? I misread. I thought ElephatSack was the name of the band not his user name.

Yeah, sorry I was vague. The band's name is Aftermath. You can find them on MySpace.com - www.myspace.com/370574464. I hear you on the playing original music. I just wish I could play music.

Awww, well I can't write like Mozart, my original stuff can't stand alone. But some of the most powerful songs are the simple ones. Specially with bass, bass is the heartbeat of the band. You can hear every other instrument but the bass you hear it and you feel it. Our theory, if it has more than 5 chords you're overdoing it. lol

Enevolergy reminds me of the instrumental section of Octavarium by dream theater about 13 minutes into the song.

That's a popular comment, but they definitely appreciate it. They're going to try to put up some videos soon. Glad you enjoyed it. They're even better live, and this coming from someone who was not really impressed with them at first.

Nice, and that's what really matters too. You can polish up a recording all you want but there's nothing like the raw sound of a good live performance.

Are any of you guys from Chicago? I'm gonna be there this weekend and was wandering if there are any good shows that I can catch while I'm there.
