I'm norwegian and I've been around on the internet since the mid 90s, but I think it's the first time I ever saw someone totally unprovoked say they like scandinavian traditional music, so I'm just surprised to see it up there. Usually when people like scandinavian music, it's Black Metal or swedish prog. ;)
If you want a recommendation with traditional prog-flavoured folk (with other influences) from Norway, I can recommend Folque's first three albums :
- Folque, 1974 (LP og CD)
- Kjempene på Dovrefjell, 1975 (LP og CD)
- Vardøger, 1977 (LP og CD)
They have more and the rest might be just as good, but those are the ones I know!
