Default Greetings from Africa

Hey all.

My name is Guy and I am 16 years old. I come from South Africa, fairly explanitory where it is for those un-aware. I am an avid music lover and am open to experimenting with new music and exploration. I also finally have picked up music in the form of playing the guitar.

I hope to educate myself to a respectable level in the fields of music.
Some of the stuff I listen to: Iron Maiden, Jimi Hendrix, The Clash, The Kinks, White Stripes, Bob Segar, Coheed and Cambria, Mars Volta, Sigur Ros, Explosions In The Sky, Elvis Costello... blah blah you get the point

Cheers

If there is anything else I should add, please just shout.

Thank you. By far the most played artist in my library.

Lots of people seem to have the same perception, which is pretty justified seeing as it is part of Africa, but yeah it is not so bad down here. A notch or two above where people expect it to be.
