Default Introduction for the Socially Awkward.

Hi there. I'm new to Music Banter.

My name is Kristine, but you can call me whatever you please; but if you're going to be insulting, at least be creative about it.

I am 21 years old, female, and I have an insatiable hunger for music. I have played the piano for 15 years, drums for 11 years, and sang for 8 years. I was in college, majoring in Vocal Music Education and Vocal Performance, but the arrival of my son has put those plans on hold for the time being.

As for now, I'm working a plain old 9-to-5 to support my son and making an extra buck here and there on the side drumming for a Southwest Minnesota based rock band called Sympathy Denied and loving every minute of it.

...So, that's me in a nutshell. Take me home and cuddle me?

OK

Nobody will call you anything nasty, if they do they have to deal with me

Hmmm far too much testosterone in that post.

I like a pretty wide variety. Rock and classical are my favorite genres by far, but as for individual songs I'm kind of all over the place.
I guess I'll just list a few that I like:

Mudvayne
Guns n Roses
In Flames
Obscura
Beethoven
Bullet for my Valentine
Neuraxis
Mozart
Rachmaninoff
Sonic Syndicate
All That Remains
Roadrunner United
Bach
Schumann
Pavarotti
Sarah Brightman
Lacuna Coil
Nightwish (though I prefer Tarja's vocals.)
Chimaira
What Lies Within
Velvet Revolver
The Faceless
Slipknot
Evanescence (and I am not ashamed!)
Killswitch Engage
Cannibal Corpse
Tchaikovsky
The Eagles
Meatloaf
Arch Enemy
Iwrestledabearonce
Avenged Sevenfold
Atreyu
Veil of Maya
Lamb of God
Muse
Rob Zombie

....I listen to music pretty much all day and night. The list goes on forever
