Default Hi all!

Hi everyone!
I'm Dona and i joined here to find some new stuff to hear and even express opinions about artists that are not Britney or Miley or whatever has invaded our music channels this recent years. All the info and band names i would spend hours searching for on the net, can be found here in no time which is awesome.
I mostly like rock, punk and the likes. I mostly listen to Green Day, Papa Roach, Muse, Three Days Grace, The Offspring, Bullet's for my valentine, Breaking Benjamin, Skillet, Shinedown, Trust Company, japanese music, soundtracks from movies even some great classics from bethoven and the likes. I want to start listening to the old stuff (old bands of rock or punk) but i still find it a bit hard to really "fit" into that kind of music. I have my pop sins too >.< for instance Aguilera. Her voice really gets in to me. I love her every song (almost).
Anyways...
Nice seeing you.
Hope to have fun
Cheers

Hey Dona! Welcome!

I must suggest, Nikka Costa. She is POWERFUL, especially live; definately NOT Britney or Miley (although I do to respect their marketing skillz).

I dont know too many pop-punk style females, Some women I enjoy or have enjoyed at some time in my life would be Kaki King, Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor. Cant really help you with anything like Green Day, sorry. Maybe Jimmy Eat world?

Haha
They are nice aren't they?I didn't have the time to hear their whole album yet but they sound very good. I see them as a modern version of Metallica...the melodies, the singer's voice, the power... 45 is my favorite so far.
