hey everyone i'm new. glad to be here! :beer:

I'm 26 yrs. old and i'm from Ohio. my favorite music and what I usually listen to is "oldschool" R&B and Dance music from the 70's & 80's mostly ^^

I grew up listening to this kind of music and couldnt quite get into the later R&B and hip hop styles, although I like some of it.

here's some acts that I really like: The System, Starpoint, SOS Band, Fatback, Heatwave, Pointer Sisters, Angela Bofill, Larry Graham/GSC, George Duke, Melba Moore, Slave, France Joli, and tons more...

Hi Gandhara! Welcome to MB. I hope you'll be sticking around, I think your taste in music is exactly the same as mine lol! :) It's great that you're into Slave and Brothers Johnson. Do you like Aurra, Rose Royce, Cameo- anything like that?

thx for the welcomes and heck yeah I like those groups lol. Aurra and Cameo are just plain badass. They had massive jams and the Rose Royce jams of the 80's are under-rated big time.
