Default Hellooo!

Just wanted to say Hi.

Found the forum and I love music, so I figured it would be a great community to be a part of. I listen to just about anything, so we probably have something in common.

Hometown is Reading, PA (about 50 miles or so west of Philadelphia). Been into music, singing and playing, pretty much my whole life. Started by singing in second grade choir and never looked back. Started playing piano a long time ago but since have moved to the guitar. I've played guitar for about 9 or 10 years, both acoustic and electric in bands and solo.

Welcome! I moved to California from West Philly so I know the general area you're from quite well.

Got any favorite musicians?

Pretty much anything. Mostly indie rock type stuff. Bands like Band of Horses, Circa Survive, Arcade Fire, Early November, Mae, Nightmare of You, Matt Costa, The Shins.

Then there's the screamo/emo/pop-punk like Senses Fail, Saosin, Thrice, Thursday.

Lately I've been getting back into some old-school and underground hip-hop: Beastie Boys, Run-DMC, POS, Aesop Rock.

Always into acoustic stuff and I could never forget Elliott Smith.

And then there's the classics like Buddy Holly, Elvis, and Johnny Cash.
