Default I just discovered theres an introduction section on MusicBanter

So now I'm making an introduction. I've already posted around and it doesn't seem like I have pissed anybodoy off, so yeah, introduction...

I'm Jason, 16 years old and currently attending Highschool in Michigan. I've been playing the drums for about 4 years now and do alot of school related music stuff such as marching band and Jazz band. I spend alot of time drawing stuff, playing video games (Left 4 Dead, Halo3, Orange Box), listening to music, watching movies and TV shows. I tend to watch alot of Adult Swim, comedy central, and the History channel. I mostly listen to music though, but I have an interest in discovering more artists. I appreciate art, but my knowledge of different artists is pretty limited. I like Alex Pardee and Don Hertzfeldt.

In terms of musical tastes, I have an open mind and listen to a variety of music. I like music that experiments and pushes boundaries. I've already looked into many of the bands that others have recommended or reviewed and Its great to see many on here with diverse music tastes that are into those kinds of bands, as well as other types of music. A few examples of what I listen to are John Zorn, Flying Lotus, Mr. Bungle (and a variety of the member's side projects such as Secret chiefs 3 and Fantomas as well), Hella, Lightning Bolt, Boredoms, cLOUDDEAD. I listen to some of the more well known bands as well such as The Shins, The Strokes and Modest Mouse. I've already discovered a few bands thanks to this forum, such captain Beefheart and The Residents (although I haven't got the chance to listen to them much). Like I said earlier, I listen to a large variety of music, I have an open mind, and want to expand my musical tastes more.
