Cool Me llamo...

Mike. I'm new here (obviously). I don't even remember how I came across this site but I did and I felt the urge to register. I'm 19 years old from Minnesota. I currently live in Virginia though serving in the Navy.

I like mostly alternative/indie rock, I suppose, but I like all kinds of music. I listen to mostly that but I also turn my ear to country, rap and some hard rock.

Beatles, Husker Du, Aerosmith, REM, Rush, Tears for Fears and some Black Sabbath and AC/DC. Metallica. There are others I am missing to but I don't listen to them as often. I left my iPod in my car. Mostly listen to more modern stuff I suppose.

I'm pretty much the other way 'round myself. Can't get enough of my old man music

You've got pretty good taste. Welcome aboard.

I know someone who is serving the Navy in Virginia. Perhaps you two are at the same base. He's a Metallica fanatic and was the person who got me into Metal in general. Welcome abroad.

There is a huge Navy influence here in Virginia. I'm stationed at a rather small in populous base in Yorktown. But, it is a small world after all..

Thanks for the warm welcome.
