New here...

Hello, :wave: my name is Alice. I'm 19 and have been playing fiddle for about 7 years. I LOVE music!! My favorite styles of fiddle music would probably be western swing and bluegrass.

I joined the site a few minutes ago as AZfiddler_1996 and I just want to apologize for posting something classified as spamming.

I just realized how annoying it would be to go up to a classical violin player and say, "Oh my god, you play the fiddle!?!"

Why? I've known a couple people who play both.

I figure someone who worked very hard at playing such a refined instrument as the violin would take offense to someone calling it a fiddle.

And ToeAndNo... :( I find I'm much less abrasive in real life.
