Default I Googled "music forum"

and this was the first one that came up on the search. The choice was clear.

Howdy doody. I'm Birdie Num Nums. A year ago, if someone asked me what my favorite band was I'd tell them "Smashing Pumpkins" before they could finish the sentence, but now I'm not so sure. I've been branching out a lot and found a lot of music I like just as much for different reasons. Which is sort of what compelled me to Google "music forum" because I'm always lookin for new tuneage to absorb and people to recommend me stuff and vice versa and whatnot.

Hmmm what else to say... By day I'm a mild mannered video editor, but by night I'm a crime fighting couch potato. I live in Vermont (hallo to any other Vermonters around here), I'm a big moviehead, twentysomething, and I just finished eating a box of Cheez-Its.

So there you go, more than you ever wanted to know.

Welcome. I have just finished eating Spag Bol and a cup of coffee. Finished off with a review of an album for this wonderful site. It can be your friend too.

I was dragged here by evil spirits and am now doomed to wander the threads and forums of MusicBanter for eternity.

Welcome to Internet purgatory Birdie Num Nums.

It's from an old Peter Sellers movie called The Party, which is where I think the French band got its name.

I'd post a link to the scene in question but can't do that for another 12 posts.

Pleasure to meet you all. I like this place already.
