Nice to have found a new music forum, the other place I was posting @ was mostly rap and hip hop so I had to migrate...

I like talking, so if anyone ever wants to talk music or gear stuff, hit me up.

I am learning the drums and guitar. Got a late start, but oh well...

My dad was a founding member in the rock group Heart, and if any of you live around the Seattle area, contact me, I highly recommend getting out to see him and his band, they kick ass.

If so, then that is awesome! I'm not a die-hard fan, but I like a lot of their earlier stuff (so does my GF) and I was actually thinking of reviewing one of their albums on here not so long ago. :)

That is exactly the reason I got here too. HipHop forums are a drag as it simply becomes a bunch of smackdowns and no discussion about music at all. I hope it's not that way here but this seems like a legitimate forum with a lot of music knowledge dispersed evenly in the members. Makes me curious to stay around and read what people are saying here.

All the **** on the hip hop forums is ridiculous, nothing but fussing and fighting and crap about violence and other idiotic things.. Im gonna go lurk in the classic rock area for awhile.
