Hi I'm new and from Scotland (techno, funk, jazz, rock)

Thought I'd just introduce myself before the usual stuff starts.

I'm a music lover, simple as that, and I like to talk about music.
So that that led me to here.
I have what is known as an eclectic taste, as love for music should not be constricted by a prejudice for any particular musical genre.
I listen mainly to rock, soul, Funk, and Jazz Funk.
My vinyl collection is over 3,500 strong and I have been converting it to MP3 for about 2 years now.

A real labour of love.

I'm into a wide and varied group of bands. I especially like The Who and Alice Cooper, which sorts out my rock.
I don't follow any particular bands in the other genres I listen to. However, I do have the back catalog for a number of bands such as Undisputed Truth and Mandrill to name but 2.
I also have most of Bob James output on the Tappen Zee label.
as I said: eclectic.
