Waukegangster (lyrics, rock, favorite bands, The Smiths, title)

Well, I'm from Waukegan, Illinois and I like music as much as the next fellow (if you don't believe me, you should ask the next fellow). I get really frustrated at picking my favorite bands because it seems like they change every other day, but I'll give it a shot. Right now, I'm really into: Scott Walker, Dave Brubeck, Animal Collective, Pulp, Françoise Hardy, The Smiths, Curtis Mayfield, Kanye West, Sufjan Stevens, The Libertines, Aesop Rock, Pharoah Sanders and Sebadoh. My favorite band is Guided By Voices, now that I think about it. I like literature, so I'm really into hip hop. I just feel it focuses on the lyrics as the main part of the music, not to say other kinds of music do not, but yeah. That's me in a nutshell.
