Default last splash

i'm told the nice thing to do is say hello in this forum. hello.

this is me trying to be nice. i'm sure, if you are reading this, you certainly deserve to be treated nicely and with respect. please accept my faint attempts at feigning these with the assuring knowledge that i am well intentioned. you know what they say about good intentions, though . . .

since this is about music, let me say that i have no musical talent or ability and i'm told i have highly eccentric and suspect taste in what i enjoy. i figured you'd all get a kick out of telling me how much i suck.

right now i'm listening to some twang-twang-shock-a-boom. fishsticks!

i enjoy beck's music but it freaks me out how short he is in person. i'm imagining him in a celebrity death match with trent reznor, also much too short in person.

i prefer tim buckley to jeff buckley.

i like a lot of "twee, emo, indie, folk," etc. any fans of the incredible string band out there?

you are welcomed to out-obscurify me, berate me, shun me, etc. just turn me on to something new, something different, something more of the same. i'll love you forever. though i warn you, forever isn't as long as it used to be.

thank you for reading. now smack me up real good.
