Let me introduce myself...
Hello everyone
I've been looking for a good music board for a while but haven't had much luck until now. I studied music for years, played the piano (haven't had one for a couple years now, though) and studied voice. I sang in the chorus of an opera company for about 8 years, but I recently moved and I haven't been performing for a while now. I love all kinds of music and I've got a pretty wide range of genres that I listen to all the time so it'd be hard to narrow it down. I feel that music, like any art form, is entirely subjective. The best you can do is listen for yourself, and not just take someone else's word for it. I love music because it is the great leveller...it doesn't matter who you are or where you're from, you can still be touched by a song the same way as someone else who may live a life totally opposite of yours. It is the first language of the universe, and will be long after we are gone. And I tend to wax poetic about it. I'm really glad I found this site. -V

Welcome to Musicbanter! Oh, and just out of curiosity, is signing your name V a reference to V For Vendetta or how you actually sign your name or what?

~Alpha, Alphadawg, Alphaman, Alphaburn, Centauri(less formal) look out for these signatures and/or words that are ever given out. |
