Hi to all.
Hi all. I live in Brisbane Australia and I am in my late 40's. I have had a deep love of music of all genre's all my life. There are very few styles that I dislike though I am not a fan of Classic Rock and some Metal. I try to see as much Live music as possible and as recently as last month caught Paul Weller live. I have tix for Robert Fisher of Willard Grant Conspiracy fame and also Howe Gelb of Giant Sand fame. I am so that I keep a journal of what I listen to.
It goes like this over the last few days. 28th August 2008. Neutral Milk Hotel. In The Aeroplane over The Sea. Ben Kweller. Sha Sha. John Cale. Hobo Sapiens. John Cale. Music For A New Society. Magnets Fields. I. 29TH August 2008. The Velvet Underground. The Velvet Underground & Nico. The Velvet Underground. The Velvet Underground. The Velvet Underground. Loaded. 1st September 2008. Giant Sand. *proVISIONS* Giant Sand. Storm. Giant Sand. The Love Songs. Willard Grant Conspiracy. Pilgrim Road. Beirut. Gulag Orkestar. 2nd September 2008. Giant Sand. *proVISIONS* The Tea Party. Transmission. Willard Grant Conspiracy. Pilgrim Road. Willard Grant Conspiracy. Regard The End. 3rd September 2008. Giant Sand. *proVISIONS* Willard Grant Conspiracy. Pilgrim Road. Giant Sand. Is All Over The Map. Giant Sand. Love Songs. 4th September 2008. Giant Sand. *proVISIONS* Willard Grant Conspiracy. Pilgrim Road. Howe Gelb. ’Sno Angel Like You. American Music Club. Everclear. Giant Sand. The Love Songs. Giant Sand. Is All Over The Map. Giant Sand. Backyard BBQ Broadcast. 5th September 2008. Howe Gelb. ’Sno Angel Like You. Giant Sand. *proVISIONS* Willard Grant Conspiracy. Pilgrim Road. 6th September 2008. Howe Gelb. ’Sno Angel Like You. Giant Sand. *proVISIONS* Neko Case. Black Listed. Bon Iver. For Emma Forever Ago. Sorry Sad I know. I do not have specific favorite artists but I guess there have been a few over the years that have been of massive influance that I do periodically come back to. Bowie, Ed Kuepper from The Saints, New Zealander Chris Knox, Velvet Underground and all things John Cale, Brian Eno, Dead Can Dance and plenty more that I cannot remember. Again Hi to all and great to be onboard. |

A couple of questions if I may be so bold. If I write a gig review where would I put it? In it's specific genre thread? I have looked and am unsure that I see any. Also what is Last FM? |
