Default Hello from North Carolina!

I was surfing the web looking for another forum that was music oriented and it looks like I've hit pay dirt!

I'm a co-owner of an internet radio station and we've got a great forum too, but it's more of a friendly banter type place, music tends to be secondary. So I wanted a place to come to find out what people think of new artists as well as classics. I was shocked when I found this place and saw how big the membership was.

My personal tastes tend to lean toward pop, and in particular 80's music, but I love it all, so this is the type of place I know I'll enjoy hanging around.

I look forward to chatting music with you all!

Get posting then and no advertising is allowed on here so your clickable sig has gone I'm afraid.

It'll probably be a few days before I get to any actual posting, so far I've just been reading all the different threads.

Before I get too into a forum I like to see what kind of folks populate it. There's too many of these out there where all anyone wants to do is talk trash and rip on each other.

The sports forums are the worst. I've got little patience for that type of crap.

So far, it seems like this place is well moderated and therefore pretty decent and friendly though.

As for the signature, no problem. It's obviously a standard thing I use when I post anywhere on the web, but if it's against this forums rules so be it.

Thank you! I'm glad to be here. Like I said, so far this place seems like an actual, honest-to-God music forum. I'm impressed! Although I am wondering how I missed it in my previous searches for music-related forums.
