Default Hello all!

My name is Jeff, aka DJ Phoenix, I live in Las Vegas, NV currently, but am born and raised in Detroit, MI. I'm a huge '80s music fan, and feel this was one of the best genre's/decades of music greatness ever. Nice to meet everyone, and i hope to have many lenghty discussions w/folks here on many of the same bands/artists/music, I dig.

Catch you all on the boards.

Well, some may/may not be others cup of tea here, but here's a shortlist:

Depeche Mode/Morrissey/The Cure/Flock of Seagulls/Joy Division/KISS/Journey(Only Steve Perry Journey-anything else doesn't count)/Iron Maiden/Ultravox
Thompson Twins/FadGadget/Ministry/Siouxsie and the Banshees/Duran Duran/Van Halen/ Counting Crows/Foo Fighters and soooooooooooooo many more.

"Depeche Mode/KISS/Journey/Duran Duran"

Oooo, that takes some balls. Not too many of our users really talk about them. But it's cool. You'll find people here venerate Morrissey and Joy Division to the point of inconceivability.

Welcome to the forums.

Welcome to the forums.
Morrissey should be talked about as an "Iconic" like figure, afterall, he is.
