Question punk will never die

hey, my name's alex, i live in Australia, i play cricket and love taekwon-do: i am currently a brown belt which is only 1 belt away from black belt. my favourite bands are NOFX, the ataris, blink, thrice, less than jake. if anyone would like to tell me about any other good punk bands it would be much appreciated.
ok thanks guys.

So people can't do sports and martial arts and like punk music at the same time? What sad world is that because I don't want to go there.

Hey axman, welcome to the site Other good punks bands: I like the Clash and the Descendents, and Billy Idol/Generation X, but I'm sure other people can give more suggestions than me.

the esentials for anyone getting into punk:
Crass - feeding of the 5000
Exploited - singles collection
The Clash - Combat Rock
Dead Kennedys - Bedtime for Democracy
Subhumans - The day the country died

lots more out there, but these are lyrically the best and what punk rock is in my opinion.

Just my opinion but i`d take out that awful ****ty 2nd gen punk outfit The Exploited & replace that with Live At The Witch Trials by The Fall.

theyve been around since '79, and played a vital role in what punk is today, saw them last year when they came through and wattie still rocks. Id still say that like them or not, they are legends in the scene, and deserve to be no less.

I my name is Jessi but my friends call my J.J. I am the lead singer in my band called The Lost Angels, and we don't play the goody goody music, we play hardcore punk rock music. My BF plays the electric guitar, his best friend plays the drums and a couple other of his friends are backgrounds.
