Hey! (rock, bands, Lute)

I've been looking for a new forum for a while, and this looks ideal!

My name's Tom (shock, much?) I'm 17 years old and fairly short for my age. I'm a huge music fan, been playing drums for 6 years and studying singing for about 3.

Primarily I listen to rock (which is a bit of a vague statement) but I like to say I'm very diverse when it comes to music, though I feel that's a really overused statement. I really like bands / musicians who do something original and innovative with their music, usually music which bends rules and stands on new ground appeals to me more than the norm, though I believe music doesn't necessarily have to be innovative and groundbreaking to be good.

By the way...I hate to be a bother but I've absolutely no idea what to do about my avatar and sig. For my avatar, I have an image but apparently it's too big, and I just don't know the code for the signature images...help, please?

Ask on of the mods to fix your avatar for you, It'll give them something to do.
Don't know what you mean about the signature, what you looking to put in it?

I want to put an image I have hosted on photobucket in my sig (can't post the URL until I have 15 posts) but I don't really know a lot about forum tags and HTML and the like, so I'm completely lost with it. With both my avatar and signature pic I get "Remote file is too large" (or something like that).

Well I used to frequent on a gaming board, then that spun off into another forum which hasn't been as active and most people from the previous forum left, so there wasn't really anything left for me there. Besides, I haven't joined a new forum in a while and this looks like the perfect place for me.
