What's your favourite colour?

You can check out my introduction thread for the first two answers, although I didn't add my favorite colour. It's blue.

That wasn't the point I was actually trying to stick up for you a little bit. But you can fight your own battles from now on since your so insistent. You know it's good to be friendly with people, it doesn't really hurt Blink.

!Blink! 10-26-2009 04:13 PM

I dont see how ur post sticks up for me, telling me im over reacting. I started this by joking around my saying how much sugar hates me...
maybe your were trying to stick up for me, and didnt type it as you intended to make it sound, or maybe i just misunderstood

It wasn't me sticking up for you in that sense I simply excused you. By saying maybe you had overreacted a little, end of the day, wires got crossed. Theres no point in this turning into an arguement at all.

!Blink! 10-26-2009 04:24 PM

haha, im not trying to make an argument, i just want to know how this turn out to be what it is, when all i said was that sugar disliked me. this definatly went the wrong way.

Arya Stark 10-26-2009 04:28 PM

Did my adopted child disappear?

Werewolf 10-26-2009 04:30 PM

I'm curious as to how exactly this whole adoption thing plays out.

What does the mentor do?

Nothing really:)

No, we can give recommendations, and explain the site if you need any help understanding what's going on

Arya Stark 10-26-2009 04:31 PM

We kind of make sure that you're not being annoying.
And if you want reccommendations, we help out with that, too.
It's also good to have us as a friend, because you meet more people like that, I don't know.
I enjoy it, as you can tell. =P

So really this is for people that are newer to the whole forum deal then?

I'm guessing this pretty much seals it, on my guess.

Sure I guess. If you want to be adopted just ask

Arya Stark 10-26-2009 04:33 PM

Well, in reality, Music Banter isn't like every other forum.
At least, it isn't like any of the forums I've been part of.

FETCHER. 10-26-2009 04:35 PM

It's good to have a friend on the forum who you can always rely on aswell, starting off without any friends can be tough. If you ever need a friend... :p:

I've been on countless forums (some much worse then others) so it's all fairly easy for me.

Anyways, thanks for the information.

The Satchmo post is actually a good reason why some people shouldn't even own a computer. So, adopting n00bs, eh? What if the n00b has been on more forums than most people have seen years?

A n00b by any other name is still a n00b. So, I take it no one enforces the adoption process? Good. I already posted a few times here without actually seeing this thread about adopting n00bs.

Adoption is totally optional. I'll admit it's not so much helpful to the n00b as fun for everybody:)

Usually. There are a couple n00bs that turn into hassles

Saggitarian Pulse 10-26-2009 07:28 PM

Always a few in every new batch of n00bs on any website that turn into royal pains. The type that make new threads rather than post in existing ones, makes stupid posts in ones that they do finally deem worthy of their attention. Seen them before. Giggled fiendishly at their idiocy and ignored them.

!Blink! 10-26-2009 07:33 PM
