Love this site but super overwhelming. Given, I want to listen to everything posted and give it a chance (add more frustration fueled by a ****ty internet connection), and I have a short attention span, leaving me spinning my wheels. Can't seem to zero in on ANYTHING.

I would probably be doing everyone a favor by throwing on my favorite Loretta Lynn album and leaving you all in peace.

It would help if we knew what kind of music you wanted to listen to.

In the small surface scratching that I have done with metal in the past (As a rule I may tip the scale toward hippie than metalhead) but I did get into, however obvious and mainstream they may be (I actually don't even know) I do really enjoy the song Overkill by Motorhead way too much and I think everyone likes White Zombie right? But yeah, thanks for giving me a little more to sample.

ALSO As I do know that their are 666 subgenres of metal, based off of Motorhead and White Zombie what subgenre would you recommend me/metal virgin? I also liked the Funeralopolis.

Well, if you dug Helloween the most, then power metal is obvious.

Can't wait to tell my husband I'm into power metal now.
