Male men? Are there other kinds of men?

from what i understand you just mentor the newbies, kinda show em the ropes, make sure they follow the rules, etc. plus the newbie and the adopter make a new friend!

I'd be happy if someone were to mentor me. I seem to be doing alright so far, but it's always nice to make a new friend. If you didn't read my intro thread, my main musical interests lie in classic rock and pop. My favorite artists are Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Flaming Lips, Tom Waits, The Kinks, and such like that.

I have pretty far-ranging ears, but the only genres I just can't listen to are rap/hip-hop and techno. After the late 70's/early 80's, I lose interest in mainstream music, and focus more on alt-rock/indie rock from those eras to the present day. I'm a big fan of The Replacements, The Pixies, The Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes...you get the idea.

So, anybody interested in adopting a white geeky dude? I have been tested for rabies and fleas, and while the tests haven't come back yet, I'm feeling pretty good about them!

Can someone adopt me, and teach me a lesson? I've been naughty!
