As mods we're on guard when we see a lot of posts from a new member withing a short time frame. It sometimes means that they're just here to reach 15 posts so they can post whatever advertising link that they came here to post, which of course we immediately delete.

I'm in South Portland. I think we're the only Mainers.

no, i'm not trying to advertise. I've just never done forums before so I'm trying to figure it out. I already messed up once. but now i've found the search thing. so that's good.

awesome that you're from maine! we can't be the ooonly ones aren't there like thousands of people on this site?

Thousands of registered members, yes. Only a fraction of them are active posters.
