Default I have arrived

I didn't see this section of the forum until just now. I've already posted a bit.

Obviously I'm a Death fan. Voice of the Soul is my favorite instrumental out of all the bands I listen to. I'm mostly into metal, metalcore, and some nu-metal, but am willing to try new things, with the exception of techno, rap, and alternative rock.

I can't remember if I've ever had an account on here. The layout of the site and color scheme look familiar, but I don't remember being here. Nevertheless, new computer, new everything, so it's all a moot point.

Favorite bands;

Nu-metal;
Disturbed
Mudvayne
Soulfly
Rammstein
Godsmack
Some Korn
a little Slipknot
Stone Sour
Shat

Metalcore/Grindcore;
As I Lay Dying
Between the Buried and Me
Bleeding Through
Cast The Stone
Converge
All That Remains
Napalm Death
Pig Destroyer
Agoraphobic Nosebleed
Elysia
Unearth
Lamb of God
Killswitch Engage

TRUE Metal;
Dream Evil
Ozzy
Slayer
Dragonforce
Kreator
Dimmu Borgir
Cradle of Filth
Satyricon
Kovenant
Arcturus
Amon Amarth
Arch Enemy
Cannibal Corpse
Immortal
Deicide
Death
Venom
Strapping Young Lad
Dark Tranquility
Neaera

That's all I can think of at the moment.

I'm in a metal band that plays Star Wars Themed music, but lately I've been writing other songs and expanding my horizons as some of you may have or not have seen. I'll post a few of my Star Wars songs shortly. Some of them are based on the events. Others are just based on knowledge and philosophy.

The term true metal can be debated. in the end it's up to opinion. I consider true metal any metal genre that wasn't formed by a crossover, which is why I didn't include metalcore (hardcore punk & metal) or nu-metal (rap/hiphop & metal).

Converge and Pig Destroyer are good. I hardly get bored of Converge.

Well, I'm still a virgin, and BTBAM are awesome, so you just put some things into perspective for me. Thanks.

It's no wonder you're still a virgin when you listen to all that metal.
