My girlfriend and I adopted a dog Friday, a 1yo American Foxhound. He may have a little Beagle or some other Hound in him, although the tri-color coat is typical of Foxhounds as much as it is Beagles so it's hard to tell. He's definitely got the Foxhound face and ears. His name was Sherlock but we changed it to Otis.

I'm not into pet clothes but we he flew in from Kentucky and it's cold here. We'll be getting him a little raincoat too...this is Seattle. We were lucky with the weather on this first weekend with him though, cold but clear skies.

Lovely dog, man! I feel that Otis is a better name based off of the first picture.

He's definitely way more foxhound than beagle. Solid pup either way.

Here's Milo, one of the cats chilling on my little brother's bed. Don't let him fool you, he's a murderous maniac. He kills endangered species.

Sidewinder, Otis is beautiful :). I think I'm going to be the crazy dog lady when I'm old.

Indeed. I only started questioning the Beagle thing because we had several people over the weekend either ask whether he's a Beagle, or comment to each other about a Beagle as they walked past. But really aside from the fact he may be a little smaller than a full breed Foxhound, there's no reason to think there's any Beagle in him.

He's got a mane.

He is like a mini lion and the bed is the African plains :)

Guys I have a rabbit but its in a cage. Not sure if i should post a picture of it, but maybe I will. Not sure yet. Maybe I'll just take him out of the cage and photograph him on the sofa or something.
