Are they mixed or does the black fade away with age? I've only ever see all white ones.. Beautiful dogs.

@ DWV: they are purebred; we own both the parents and actually bought Phoenix as a companion for Abe. The black fades to more of a light gray as the long fur grows in. Great breed: smart, beautiful, and super friendly while still being capable of tearing the ******* off a predator if need be ;)
