Muh new muh kitty muh kitty kitty... Pops dropped her off with me on a whim. Petite, gorgeous markings, good with small kids and other cats.

Interestingly... I currently have a flat tire so I made a makeshift, last-minute litter box out of fresh pine shavings from the garden mixed with some diatomaceous earth (for absorption) in a cardboard box... She's never been domesticated til yesterday, but she used the box, no problems, no messes for her new Mommy. I'm quite impressed.

Honestly, she's the first cat I've had (besides a drifter tomcat using me for my superb kitty rehab services) since my Izzy passed last year :( I had been with that cat as long as I've been with my man; it just wasn't the right time for a new she-cat until now.

I know the feeling. I got the cat I have now a few years back and it was around the time my family lost the cat that I grew up with for 16 years. I love having a cat no matter what though. Hours of entertainment.

Indeed... It's been quite the adventure witnessing her acclimate herself to the joys of domestication; she's probably wondering how she has survived her whole life (all five months of it) without wayward hair ties under every nook'n'cranny.

My cat does this weird thing where he comes up to my neck and licks my beard like it's crack. And when I pull him away, he quickly comes right back and purrs while he does it. Its so cute.

Male cats are like that. The first time I let my tomcat in the house, he basically ambushed me while I was taking a ****. He jumped on my back, wrapped his arms around my neck, and started chewing on my ear and licking my head. I'm not prone to selfies, but I made an exception for that occasion.

Yeah, Giles does that too. Today I let him nibble on my beard for a full 20 mins and he felt so satisfied by the end of it. I usually push him away after five mins because it feels weird and he gets my beard all wet and his kitty breath stinks. Well his breath doesn't stink anymore since I put him back on the original formula that I had him on before my vet told me to switch formulas because my cats are gaining weight and getting too fat. Screw you Mr. Vet, I prefer to have their teeth in excellent condition and their kitty breath not stinking.

aww such a cute kitty. I think kittens have an innate ability to use a litter box, well to scratch and cover up their poo. I've never had to really litter box train any of the cats/kittens that I've had.
