^ that's cool. I can dig that. I guess when it comes down to it, I just want a pissed off cat that knows he's better than me.

Dogs love you like hookers, but there's something special about when a cat decides you're their most special person in the universe. They have taste in people, even if it seems an odd taste at times.

If you have the right cat, they match your personality like you wouldn't believe. My cat lounges with me, and when I take him outside, he has the happiest look on his face. He only hisses at me when he doesn't want to go back inside because he loves it so much.

Especially if you've been gone all day and all you see in the window is your cat looking at you with the cutest look in the world. That, and he just wants to be fed.

Mostly they just wanna be fed. I've lost count of the amount of times I've basked in the adoration of one of my cats, only to find that they were leading me toward their food bowl.

And then when they scarf down the food, only leaving scraps of food on the floor and smudges of it on their nose and cheeks.

Until you realize the scraps on the floor have been turned into cement by cat saliva and now you have to take a chisel to the floor to clean it up.

Actually that's more of a dog thing, but cat scraps still kinda suck.

I have hard wood flooring in my room so I don't have to worry about that. Otherwise I know exactly what you mean. The apartment I used to live in would have cat food in the carpet at all times. My cat is a messy eater though, so I just expect it to happen.

I used to have a St. Bernard, and they drool like fire hoses. Many is the time I'd have to vigorously clean the walls after feeding our dog tomato soup. Dog saliva is like quick drying cement.

That sounds gross. The only tedious part of cleaning a cat is his litter box. I rarely give him a bath, and when I do, he hates it.

Why do you feed your dogs tomato soup? That seems like an odd selection to me.
