Hey now! Everyone knows the housecat is the citizen's first line of defense... The second amendment is merely a ruse; what the elites REALLY want to take away is our right to bear felines.

Don't mind me, I'm just jealous because I can't afford pets.

Because our cats need to be able to defend themselves from birds and squirrels.

Tips on how to get a cat to swallow his medicine tablets? He won't eat it if it's in food. What do the MB cat owners do?

If the cat isn't a vicious sunbitch who'll scratch the **** out of you, just force the pills down their throat and close it's mouth until it swallows them. Sounds mean, but it's better than letting the cat die.

Much easier with a dog, since dogs are bitches, but if your cat will let you get away with some forcefulness then you gotta do what you gotta do. Just shove that pill down its throat and feel guilty afterward. Just remember to keep its mouth shut until you know the cat has swallowed the pill.

Seriously is that the only option? Have you ever done it?

I feel nervous trying it.

Hold on, I'm going to ask my mother...

Alright, so first thing's first, I asked my mother and she was adamant that you need to be very careful about this. She's worked in a vet clinic (not as a vet though) so she does have some expertise.

Her advice is that if you can't do what I said (get your cat to eat food with dissolved medicine in a broth mixed in with their food) then her way was basically to corner the cat, force it into some kind of corner where it couldn't escape from while bodily holding it in place, and force the medicine down its throat. While you're doing this, take a squirt bottle and spray the side of the cat's mouth to wash it down. Make sure to spray the side of the cat's mouth, otherwise you could spray the water down its throat and into its windpipe.

My mother has a history of keeping near death cats alive for months, even years after they should have stayed alive, in comfort. So she doesn't just keep miserable animals that wish they were dead alive. My mother is a psychopath about making sure all of her animals live the maximum amount of happy years available to them and if there was anyone who I would listen to, it would be her.

Seriously, she's ****ing crazy, but I wouldn't even trust a veterinarian with the last years of my pet before I would trust her. Even they are amazed at the relatively healthy condition of the animals she finally has to bring in to be put to sleep.

Dude just get a pill gun. Basically shoots the pill down the unsuspecting cats mouth. Work like a charm. Heres a link.

Not gonna say **** about that cause I don't know, but I would first talk to my veterinarian. I would definitely be paranoid as a non-registered vet about shooting a "pill gun" down my cat's throat. That sounds like it would be very easy to shoot down my cat's lungs. I wouldn't be giving any kind of advice if I didn't have a mother who had worked for years in a veterinary ET and done all the **** I just mentioned. SO yeah, if you wanna use a pill gun, talk to a ****ing vet way before.
