Yeah, mine loves to play with the ball on the string. I want to get a bigger one since the one I have isn't super exciting. I really want to make a cat fortress.

I want to eventually build a custom one someday... By which, of course, I mean that my husband will.

She's pre-registered so she came with a name. Luckily, "Phoenix" is agreeable enough IMO.

As far as cleanup is concerned, my bitching is mostly for show. I've raised enough children and pets to realize that a few extra poop piles and hair balls lying around "ain't no thing but a chicken wing."

(Psst she's not gonna notice if you change her name)

It's not that. I don't feel like going through the legal process of a name change. She's technically a purebred Great Pyranese (i.e.: quintessential livestock guardian dog) and although she herself will be a pet for all intents and purposes, I want the option of registering her offspring for sale. A name change would raise suspicious eyebrows for anyone tracking her offsprings' lineage-- in other words, potential buyers will wonder whether the mother is inbred (she's not). So no legal name change is in order.

You're lucky, we got stuck with a "Jojo" and a "Buttons". They were St. Bernards.

This made me laugh for some reason.

How in depth. I guess I don't view my pets like that. Phoenix is a good name at least.

If newspapers had actual testicles (metaphorically of course, since paper and ink cannot have testicles) Cyanide and Happiness would have been the next Boondocks.

I could work with "JoJo," but "Buttons" is quite a bitter pill to take.

These from Go Pet Club really are almost indestructible and at a really good price (with free shipping!).
We have one in the living room and one in my studio - both overlooking the big trees and creek out front.

Hmmm I wonder if this thing could handle a Bengal?
