The Saint pup does look a bit like she's about to go for the jugular in a major way.

Yeah I could see it, not a major meme or anything, but some internet fame.

You think? To me it looks like she just walked in on something she didn't want to see and is now trying to leave in the fastest way possible

I've lived with dogs long enough to know what look that means. She's about to play fight with little to no pity or remorse.

Maybe, if memory serves it was her first time ever at the dog park so she was having a lot of fun. She's definitely more of a wrestler when it comes to playing, because you know, running is hard and what not. That said though, you have to REALLY wind her up for her to bite you while playing, and even when she does it's not much more than a nip.

I used to have a Saint that was pretty skinny and wiry. He was the only Saint Bernard I would ever describe as fast or agile. We had another one, more like what a Saint is supposed to be, and the skinny one would run at him from the side and vault over him, usually knocking the thicker one over in the process until he would run to hide in some bushes. It was pretty awesome.

Yeah Amy is going to be a very big girl. She's not even 8 months old and she's already passed 100 lbs.

Here's a more recent picture.

Yup. Gonna be big. I've only got the one right now, but I think she's well over 160 right now. Might even be pushing 180. The weird thing is that after all these years I don't even think of them as big animals. They're just how dogs are supposed to look to me now. When I hear people call a full grown dog that's only in the low 100's "big" I can't help but feel just slightly condescending.

Haha yeah I've noticed that all other dogs seem to pale in comparison. Do you have a ramp or something to help her get in and out of a car?

Nah, all of our dogs have just sort of gotten into the car on their own. She has Addison's Disease though, and sometimes she'll get very weak and we have to actually pick her up and carry her into the car to take her to the vet. It involves putting a towel under her stomach to use as sort of a crude harness and using lots and lots of elbow grease.

Dawwwww.

S/he resembles Garfield.

Spoiler for huge ass picture of an unhappy dog:

Cory thought it would be a really great idea to roll around in the debris of a washed up sea lion carcass at the beach today. To say she smelled rancid and utterly awful would be an understatement. To say she was displeased with her bath would be understatement too.
