and I heard something about the riots but I don't know too much yet. Have officials given any sort of reason?

The riots were ignited by the death of two teenagers of African origin who were electrocuted after comming into contact with a transformer in an electrical relay substation. The kids were apparently chased after by police officers who wanted to check their IDs.

The roots of the matter, however, leads back to the ancient problems of unemployment, racial and religious issues, poverty in the urban regions of greater Paris, as well as the underlying problems with immigrants from North and West Africa being casted aside, labeled and thus have never been fully integrated into the society. All in all it's just such a pity to see a country with so much culture to be in the state that it is now...

Hey, It's all good, I don't mind. Thanks for the advice anyways, I'll keep that in mind and maybe one day I could pass it on to other new-commers.

Thanks, your the crazy one not me, (Can I call you ytconm? ) that's a really cool thing to say and I appreciate such a gesture very much.

About the life-swapping, I would but I don't think I'd do a very good job at it, in fact I seriously don't think anyone could ever be - YOU - as good as you can. - Whatever that means to you, however you interpret that is completely up to you. I have my way of seeing it and I know, that I will never be you, as good as you are. So whoever you are, make sure you let people know. You find your own way how, but do the best that you can at being yourself, and that's all that matters. Everything else will be in place with time. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not preaching or trying to teach you anything, that's just a little something I've learnt, and I'm glad I have this chance to share it, whether it means anything to you only comes second, to the fact that you've just given me a chance to share.

Well I'm off to Oz tomorrow for 2 months, hopefully with a bit of luck I will have enough time to visit New Zealand... it's just a thought, but it's somewhere I'd love to visit.
