Music Banter - Requesting adoption as a newbie

It certainly is an eye catching title indeed. I have looked into three other introduction threads, and one of them (unfortunatly I cannot post URLs yet) introduced this idea:

NEWBIES: Post if you would like an adoptive mentor to look out for you.

MEMBERS: First come, first serve. Newbies who post here as avalible are open game.

So a platonic adoption in this sense would be just fine, John. ;)
