Default Cheiftains.

Yeah hows about the Cheiftains? Im especailly fond of "the wind that shakes the barley" but their rendition of "Foggy dew" with sinead is amazing. It gave me chills when I first heard it.

one of the best traditional irish music bands ever. type of music i thought i wouldnt like, listened to it grudgingly and absolutely loved it. ellen browne and carrickfergus in particular are great songs.

I've never liked traditional celtic fiddle, but as far as traditional goes, they are one of the best groups. Personally I like the modern group leahy better.

My dad is really big into them...couldn't name a song if my life depended on it.

A few of their "battle-esque" songs are pretty cool.
