Hey guys i recently saw a really talented new singer going by the name of CeU has anyone else heard of her?

oh yeah! I have heard of her, i think! is she the Brazilian artist who toured in Canada recently? I haven't heard any of her stuff yet but I hear shes quite good.

Yeah thats the one she's really amazing. I saw her perform in rotterdam on Sunday and was really blown away. She is sort of afrobeat,funk,hiphop all combined in one! And she has an amazing band too you should check out ceumusic on myspace some of their songs are up there and they are really cool!

I don't usually buy albums, but I need more relaxing beautiful music like this in my life, so I just might. Do you think it's out already?

i just heard there is an album coming out sometime in september in the UK, youll have to be patient!!

on her website it says in big letters 'the sound of malemolencia'... I wonder what malemolencia means?!

I thought that too and asked a brazilian friend of mine. Apparently its about being carefree and relaxed i think?

ah, well that fits in perfectly then! she does sound carefree and relaxed. sounds like she's pretty good with lyrics too, the tunes are sticking in my head.

hey, I went to her myspace the other day and apparently she sold out a 400 capacity venue, and they had to take the seats out to fit more people in! She's hot property at the moment, I kind of do't want her to get big here 'cause she feels like my little secret, but I just know she's going to take off and be massive!:hphones:

yeah, its always lame like that when someone you've liked for a while becomes mainstream and then any old idiot who never cared for that type of music before is saying 'oh, I love that CeU song!' on the street (after hearing like only ONE of their songs!)

She will be huge Im sure- cant wait for the album. That whole malemolencia thing is quite interesting....

Hehey,haven;t heard much about CeU, will check it out though.. but I'm so glad you've heard about malemolencia! somone described it to me as 'effortless wickedness'.. what do you guys think? kinda cheeky, I like it.
