If you like Indie music then please list some good Indie bands that we could take a look at. Descriptions of the band help.

sonic youth is basically one of the indie bands that everybody knows....check them out though, they are good

what are some of your favorite songs by them?

Pavement? Nada Surf? Ween (new album, Quebec, is good), Belle&Sebastian? Porcupine Tree(Progressive Indie?) The Fall? (Old Time) , The Pixies and The Flaming Lips? Ooooh, the Lemonheads! That's just to name a few, there are millions depending on your opinion of what you think Indie is i'd guess...i might inlcude bands like Portishead, Massive Attack, etc, but I guess they're a little too spacey.

Radiohead, the Bends is the best, new album is very good to, not forgetting OK Computer :)

I like Bush. Hmmm...I don't know about all of those bands errant. I might have to do myself a little research.
