His vocals are the main reason I like the band at all. He has a subtle rasp that he can turn up to a full scream that still sounds melodic and beautiful - reminds me of John Lennon sometimes. He's also a good songwriter I guess. There's something about Spoon that gets me excited while just about every other radio-friendly indie rock band that gets rave reviews bore me shitless.

I'm stoked to see them. Even more stoked about the fact that Micachu and the Shapes will be opening for them. I'm curious about who chose them as the openers BUT you better believe that I'll be there. Both are awesome bands. I saw Spoon live a few years ago and they were great live, awesome experience so I can't wait to see them again.

P.S. My favorite song by Spoon is "I Summon You," hands down..I wish they had played it live though when I saw them. This is pretty much the greatest thing ever...
