just heard "you don't have to shout" on mtv2 ( hehe, me likes mtv2 ), ever so good track, i've mentioned this before, a good drum beat can sell the song for me........

They're really cool... Their album "They Think They Are The Robocop Kraus". My fav is "In Fact You're Just Fiction".

But yes, indeed: They're german. (You can hear/see it in their name, btw...) From Nürnberg, if you know where that is.
One of the few cool bands over here... Besides the Beatsteaks, Tocotronic, Helden and die Ärzte, but I'm sure you never heard bout these bands...
The Robocop Kraus is really cool. I'm listening to them right now: "You Don't Have to Shout..."

actually, i was just surprised, just like i was surprised that neneh cherry is swedish, or that the killers are not english.....or that charlize theron is from south africa.....
oh and i just don't expect good music to come from germany, no offense josephine, but i just don't dig your music scene ( except for die fantastishe 4 and xavier naidoo) just like i don't dig the italian or the spanish music scene, and they sing in english ( without an accent ) which also threw me off......
and unfortunately i have heard of the arzte, they bombarded me with their unplugged concerts for a long time on german mtv, one of the reasons why i hated it......and why i'm so happy to have gotten mtv2 ( english mtv2 )....

I don't listen to the Ärzte (I don't like german Punk) either, but they're quite likeable guys, that's why I like them. But you'd never know that cuz you can't understand what they're talking bout.
And I know that the german musicscene is crap. I don't listen to german music (as i said already), so you don't have to feel sorry. I don't even like Xavier Naidoo or Fanta 4.
And OMG they sing without any accent? I'm not sure if you're able to recognize a german accent, but anyway... The Beatsteaks don't have a strong accent either.

an accent is an accent no matter if it's east european ,german or french, i only heard one song by them and i didn't notice it, maybe if i hear it again i will......

and there was really no need for you to get all defensive, good music is good music, regardless of where the band is from.....
